Will Newsom fight for #EveryLife in California?
LOS ANGELES—Conscience Coalition Executive Director Jonathan Lockwood released the following statement on Senate Bill (SB) 276 moving closer to the governor’s desk:
“Conscience Coalition stands with three brave activists—Denise, Tara and Heidi—who stood up for all California children today in the Assembly Appropriations Committee. They represented the freedom movement well. By standing up today, they exercised their conscience rights as free and sovereign individuals. After the massive peaceful rally on Wednesday, following months-long activism, and continuously growing outrage surrounding SB 276, it is clear. There is no place for SB 276 in a California for all. The fight is not over though. Governor Gavin Newsom and California’s First Partner Jennifer Newsom need our support to kill this bill and fight for every life in California, because every life is precious and must be protected. By each and every one of us.”
